Sorry I've Been MIA!

Updated: Sep 9, 2018

So I'm sure many of you have wondered where I've been. So I've received an amazing gift - but a gift that resulted in my time being completely monopolized (outside of parenting my children, of course) for the past month and a half. What was this gift, you might ask? Well... I got a DNA test donated to me through an AMAZING program, Kits of Kindness, a program run by renowned genealogist CeCe Moore of The DNA Detectives.

If you are interested in donating to this amazing program, which helps to provide those without the financial ability to obtain a kit a way to search for biological connections (especially adoptees and aged out foster youth with little to know knowledge of their biological families), please send them a monetary donation via PayPal here. You can also donate kits themselves by sending an email to kits@TheDNADetectives.com.

Another way to support the Kits of Kindness donation program is to use The DNA Detectives' affiliate links when ordering kits or purchasing genealogy and search-related products. A portion of the commissions received from these sales go towards purchasing kits for the program.

I'll be sharing more information about my DNA journey soon (along with some tips for those of you interested in testing), but I just wanted you to know I'm still around, just very busy ;) Oh, and I hear that Black Friday should be a great time to buy a kit at Ancestry (who I recommend starting with), as they'll have their best sales of the year then ;)
