Parents of Oklahoma

Parents of Oklahoma (formerly Oklahoma Parents Support Group) came about after founder Janettee McCrary became frustrated with the lack of support available for new parents with low incomes and little to no support system.

 

It seemed that only parents with large involved families or who had budgets for nannies, doulas, housekeepers, maids, cooks, etc were able to receive support.

The group went live on Facebook on April 27, 2015 with the goal of connecting parents and enabling them to create their own support system "village".

One of our problems in the Facebook group was organization and posts getting lost, so we went in search of a solution, and found Wix Forums - and on May 20, 2017, we arrived here!
