If you're like our family, you've tried out several gyms, and as any parent knows, the child care options available to you at the gyms you're trying out might make or break your decision to join. Many gyms have limited hours of child care availability, which may make it impossible for some families (especially those working non-traditional hours) to use gyms without alternate child care. Some gym child care areas, who may even have trainers or front desk staff manning them, don't do a very good job of engaging children and may have only 1-2 children at a time, meaning children aren't getting any socialization and may not even have anything to do while there.
Well, in Oklahoma City, there will soon be a solution to the issue of quality child care while you're working out! The solution? Stop trying out gyms! Instead, try out what's being referred to as an "Athletic Country Club". Not only will it offer extremely high quality child care, it will have dedicated staff for the child care area (known as LifeTime Kids Academy) at LifeTime Athletic, coming this fall (2018). It will be open the entire time from 8am-8:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-5pm Friday-Sunday, so no concerns about scheduling!
There is already a location in Tulsa, if you're closer to that area. You can find more information on the South Tulsa page.
